This black alpaca fiber is from a local farm, where I processed from raw form here on our farm at my Mini Mill. Alpaca is a very fine fiber, and perfect for the spinner. Made into rolags for the ease of spinning. All fiber/wool processed at my mill is 90% + free of vegetable matter. Approximate staple length 3", unsure on micron.
